Ut rating: 100 proof is best for dissolving essential oils, but what you can find in stores is only 80 proof, so I have to shake it whenever I use it. My husband likes this when I'm in a good mood so I can take a sip in a little while! If you use water or vegetable oil, you should also shake the bottle each time you use it.
