What does the term going in or out of the ribs mean? 3
We use the term supra to serve, but we don't usually say supra coastal (see rib). We usually refer to the clavicle or supraclavicular. The collarbone behaves like an upper rib in some ways, although it is not really a rib, but a collarbone. However, if you have swollen supraclavicular or lymph nodes, this is not normal and you will need to be tested, especially if you are a woman.
