The term is also used to describe agile or agile workflows and processes in general, even among teams that do not adhere strictly to agile development principles.
A flexible marketing process
A basic agile marketing process might look like this:
- An idea for a project or campaign is born.
- The project is planned in phases, which are divided into work periods of two to four weeks, the so-called sprints.
- A cross-functional team (consisting of representatives from different disciplines) works together on a project and meets every morning to discuss progress (these meetings are called scrums).
- Once a sprint is completed, the team moves on to the next sprint or project.
