Bandera Blanca Con Cruz Roja
Who knows what the white flag and cross of Jesus mean? 3
If anyone can help me I have seen some very beautiful paintings and pictures of the resurrected Jesus. Palos brought a white flag with a red cross in the middle and I wanted to know what it meant.
The white flag with the red cross, which divides the background into four parts, symbolizes the resurrected Christ, who conquered death. White means holiness and the red cross means salvation comes through the resurrection death of Jesus. From an artistic point of view, it has been used since the early Middle Ages (and even earlier) to show viewers that the person pictured is Jesus, after the resurrection.
I've seen the pictures, I've checked each one so far, no Catholic can explain it to me definitively.
The picture is Catholic, I wonder how they got it ... just like that.
Definitions
The white Masonic flag with a cross in the middle, optionally with an inverted cross on one side, symbolizes the Freemasonry symbol that was used more than in the Renaissance and the Middle Ages.
