Best Dorms At Uw Madison
Which dorm is best at the University of Wisconsin? 3
I am a beginner and very hardworking but very friendly. I don't go to clubs or anything, but I like to be out and about. I want to be friends with the good, many of them, and have a very close relationship with them. I want to see the city and get out. I'm not a big fan of parties, but I'm not sure if the long drive from the Lagos hostel is worth it in the winter. All hostel tips and tricks are welcome!
Although there may be more parties in the southeast dormitory area, I agree with the other posters that you will find a lot more people in this area than the lake, especially other new people.
Elizabeth Waters is a great room that is not entirely by the lake, but it has many surprises. I have heard that the weather is good and everyone is good regardless of the blockade.
I'm going to impress the Daily because I lived there and loved it :) This is a hostel for students only by the lake so it's nice to be in the same boat. Key (unless you are in agriculture / energy).
Maybe you want Chadbourne? As a learning community, I don't think it attracts an audience like Celery / Ogg / Whit, but people don't want other options (no need to drink things like Olympic boarding, etc.). The learning community does not mean that they are constantly learning, it is that they look for more opportunities to incorporate learning into their environment, more important areas inside the building, bedroom locks and even There are also counseling offices. . . Chadbourne is also in the southeast, so it is still close to Cles.
I will avoid:
Crown, Slater, Tripp, Adams, Cole and Sullivan.
Slichter, Tripp and Krone, although beautiful on the outside, have more surprises, including juniors. Cole and Sullivan have such a boring construction, why bother?
If you have a lot to learn, I would say you should choose a lake hostel. I will not choose Cole or Sullivan Halls as construction is underway in the area of the lakefront quarters. Slater, Crown, Trip, Adams or Daily Halls (another room on Lake Mandota) should do the trick. Living in a lake hostel has many advantages over a hostel in the southeast. Especially if you live in a lake hostel, you don't have to settle for the noise of the city. This includes the ENE siren and the Ison metro flight bus. Second, if you live in a dormitory in the southeast, there is likely to be a lot of traffic outside your room between Monday and Friday at 7 p.m. That is, if you have CL at 11 o'clock in the morning. M. And he wants to sleep by 10:15. M ... OK. In addition to Chadbourne and Bernard, the rooms in the southeast are also known as party rooms. The rooms by the lake are very noisy.
I really like living in a southeast hostel. He lives in Celery Hall. Rupees are diverse and you have a lot of people in your R, so there are many opportunities to make new friends. I like to stay away from my dream.
I like the lake hostel, but I think it's perfect for your second year when you have a solid foundation of friends and you want peace of mind. The view of the lake is very good.
I graduated in 2005, so I'm not familiar with the new hostel behind the old Ogg.
