Chain On Tooth To Pull It Down

One of my canines is affected (St. in the gums, not blocked yet) and I am going to see a specialist tomorrow. "They will tie a chain around my teeth and gently pull it out whenever I go to see them," he said. My orthodontist told me to take Advil before I left so I was in pain ... what's the matter? : |

It's probably going to be a little bit claustrophobic.
I have seen many patients whose chains are attached to the affected teeth. Many of them did not take Advil or any other painkillers that day. This can be a bit confusing when the series is up and tense.
