Chevrolet Equinox Deals: Problems with the Jump Track?

The way Equinox removes its battery in favor of the removed positive terminal, is it possible to pass other people's cars? I recently tried and failed, which I connected to a jumper wire that was only connected to my positive terminal. I can't find any help in the manual (it just says: jump, don't give up).

With any car set up like this, you will need to connect a wire (ground) to the metal part of the car to provide a complete circuit for the jump. GM has been setting up batteries like this for years, I have a 1994 Pontiac with the same thing! You can also find it on other car brands !!

By removing the positive wire from the positive pole and leaving the negative wire on good ground, you can jump into another car!
