Chromatic Aberration

Also known as the purple pony. This is common with digital cameras of 2 megapixels and above, especially if they have long telephoto lenses. You can see this when a dark area is surrounded by a marker. Between dark and light you see a stripe of purple pixels that shouldn't be there.
