What is the closest decent beach to Memphis, TN? 3

I will leave Saa in the morning and stay there (I will leave on Sunday afternoon). Which beach is closer to Memphis that is worth seeing?

Closest Beach To Memphis Tn

Mississippi beaches such as Violand, Luxi and Gulfport are good. You're not too busy and too close to Memphis, but I wouldn't say it's worth the trip. All that coughing is still Katrina and not much fun (unless you want a lot of money at the casino) if you are looking for a beach with good sand and lots to do. If so, I would recommend Mall or Gulf SS Alabama. It's a little more, but the restaurants and life are much better, and the beaches are more like Florida.
I'm sure Mississippi has great beaches, but for the nest I can't tell you what it is ... you have to find it.
