Closest Ocean Beach To Indiana

I'm looking for the nearest ocean coast, not a lake near Indianapolis. I would like a special holiday. ۔

I agree, although Michigan and Indiana are surrounded by water, all are lakes ... if you want the ocean you have to go to Cali in the west, Florida / Carolina in the east or the Gulf of Mexico (Texas, LA).

I agree, although Michigan and Indiana are surrounded by water, they are all lakes ... if you want the ocean, you have to travel to the Gulf from Kelly in the west, Florida / Carolina in the east or Mexico ( Texas, LA)
Ocean Beach Wardrobe
The nearest beaches are in New Jersey or New York, maybe Delaware or Maryland, all between 650 and 800 miles, or about 14 hours, by car.
No song reaches the beach on disturbing ht. The sound of the waves in the darkness is calm and peaceful like no other. However, it can be overlooked with mountains / lakes. I admire the fresh mountain air and the solitude surrounded by bushes. I also enjoy hiking. =)
