I doubt the sisters comforted the Jews in Treblinka or any other concentration camp.

On the other hand, most prisoners face poor diet and conditions that most civilized people consider inhumane. Some escaped from their fellow prisoners as bodyguards (at least temporarily), and others were punished for being cruel as children themselves.

The Jews stayed and did not comfort them.
