I called my credit card company and the automated system reported that I had a debt of x in my account. what is the meaning of this? Am I paying off your debt or am I paying too much?
When your bank or credit card has the right credit, you have more money temporarily than you owe. You may have an unprocessed check or credit card receipt, which means you are indebted to them, that they have not received any charge, or that the charge is pending.
So don't think that you can afford it.
