The Independent Athletic Club (CAI) is an Argentine athletic, sports and social club [11] headquartered in Avellaneda, in the province of Buenos Aires, south of the autonomous city of Buenos Aires. Its original location will be in the historic Monserrat district of Buenos Aires. Officially signed on 1 January 1905 (although foul has existed since 4 August 1904) and played in Argentina's First Division.
