Ian Banks, aka Psyche Derek, is an internet stalker for Pattons and has a psychological obsession with him. Ian pretends to be Derek's brother to get close to him, but when he finds out the truth, he tries to join him and the real Lucas and Derek stop him. Later, Patton thinks Ian is in jail, but on the ball, he and Brooke Davis are put on stage by him and Ed.
