Dish Dvr Recording Problems
Trouble recording from network DVR DVR? 3
We say I want to record at 9pm. Say you love me Then limit your enthusiasm to 10 p.m. I schedule to record on TV1 at a specific time. But ... what can I do, they are still recording on TV2, which we want to record for free. Why do this? All recordings go to TV2 automatically.
* Laugh *
Dish really needs to rethink its terminology.
TV1 and TV2 are ridiculous terms because they don't even match the hardware toner on the back of the box.
It drove me crazy until I realized that TV1 really means this TV or this tuner and TV2 means another TV or some other tuner.
Worse, when you press the button on the remote, TV1 becomes TV2 and TV2 becomes TV1. Arg! Very stupid! And you don't have to!
Then there is the mess in receiver mode, which makes things very cheap ...
However, it looks like your receiver is configured in the same way that my dual channel DVR is connected to a television. There is no TV in the other rooms. In this setting, TV2 is always the default tuner for recording. If another recording is playing at the same time, TV1 will be used.
When you turn on the TV / receiver and see how it is recorded, you can press the SWAP button on the remote control (using only the numeric and right pads). It switches between two tuners, but what you see is always called TV1. (ARRRGH!)
TV1 / TV2 ... does not matter. All SWs are stored on the same DVR hard drive and can be viewed on TV1 or TV2.
I have a dual configuration like yours. TV # 1 is the main TV and when you record a show, your DVR is automatically recorded on TV 2. So you can record a movie while watching another movie. The only option you have is to record SW on TV 2 while your parents are away or asleep. The second option is to get a second dual DVR and connect it to your TV and other TVs. Also, your parents can use the cancel option to stop recording and tell them what they did so you can record later. I had the same problem with visiting the company.
I have POS in my opinion ... this has never been a problem with Directv, the subscription option is very simple. I also had difficulty recording, racing and stopping. So I tried to go back to where I was. Keep playing live TV ... In other words I lost 125 rounds because of this problem ... I know someone will say OK, go to the chart and finish and move fast ... it's not like that ۔ These things will get out of place on live TV ... so I lost half the race ... thanks Dish Network! You cannot be trusted. ..no!!!!
