My satellite network receiver does not yet have a smart card. But do records send me one after 2 years? What does a smart card receiver do?

Your recipient has an integrated smart card. Dish Network's Pie Stealth service makes it useless.

The new chip card replaces the integrated card in the receiver (or used in the old receiver).

The smart card only provides the decryption key for your signed line.
