Does Taco Seasoning Go Bad

Does anyone know the spice for long lasting tacos? 3

I found three packages of Seasoning Ortega Taco in my closet, but I don't know the expiration date other than this number: 08124 S5 0608. Is this food safe?

It takes 10 years for the expiration date to appear on the packaging, it stays in the shipping box until all the boxes arrive, so only the warehouse knows the date. As long as the packaging is sealed so that no moisture comes out from time to time, that's fine.

If you're worried (and maybe not, if it's dry and tightly closed, it's probably still okay), you can call the manufacturer and give them a lot number. They can tell you exactly when and where the spice was used. I did this with canned tuna or Starcast and found that the shelf life of tuna is two years.

06/08 is probably the expiration date. I will not eat, I will buy more.

If sealed and unpacked sealed, it would be safe, but personally I'd throw it away, better than sorry :)
I usually change my spice every six months. After that, they lose their appetite.
It is probably safe because it contains a lot of preservatives
It is never wrong. It's bad if it's opened and hardened, it's fine if it's still powder.
