Dryer Smells Like Burning

Does our new dryer smell like fog? 3

My husband just installed our second new dryer 25 minutes ago, the convertible is rotating and he has filled it with some clothes. He checked the clothes 2 minutes later to see if they were fit and said they smelled of fire. Does this seem like a common problem? Can't expand because this is the first batch we've made. He put out the fire and it still smelled burning.

Thoughts?

I work for Whirll and I can say that this is perfectly normal. I know it sounds weird but after the first few uses it disappears. It's just an engine cover, it smells awful, but it's okay. If this continues I will definitely contact Whirll customer service. The number is in the manual.
