Dye Sub
Sublimation is a printing process in which dyes are thermally transferred to a printing medium. Printers use the CMYK color format. Paper enters and exits the printer four times, once for each color (C, M, and Y) and a fourth time when the protective coating is applied. Dye sub is a halftone print that prints small square dots that are closer in the center and lighter at the edges. The shades are transparent, allowing you to print dots of different colors on top of each other, creating one of 16 million colors.
