Can I use FEMA's independent study program to earn NYPD points? 3

I took the NYPD written exam, but I need college credit. Will NYPD receive credit from the FEMA Institute of Emergency Management's Independent Study Program? I read that they would take credit, I heard from others who did not. Help us!

To get the NYPD minimum score, credit must be from a recognized college or university. FEMA itself is not a recognized college or university. However, some FEMA points may be transferred to Frederick Community College, Frederick, Maryland. You must first pass the FEMA cl, then enroll in Frederick CC and pay the applicable Frederick CC tuition to receive credit. Regardless of the number of credits granted by Frederick CC, you are eligible for the NYPD Minimum Requirements. There may be other colleges or universities that give full or partial credit to FEMA courses, but I only know Frederico. FEMA courses alone are not counted as college credits, but at least all credits from a recognized college or university are counted.
