The first problem is that you have bought a Lexmark printer. Lexmark sells its printers at a lower price, even though we were looking elsewhere for good ink. The cost per drop of Lexmark cartridges is on average 2040% higher than the operating costs of the next HP printer. Most technology is in cartridges. Ink is the perfect price for what you pay for nanotechnology in print heads as well as in complex electronic circuits. Spend a little more money, buy a better printer like Kodak Easy Share All-in-One and you'll find cartridges much cheaper ($ 25 for a kit that prints 200,400 pages). Need a printing press. It comes with a 1/4 ll max test cartridge, which does not save money in the end.
