GDN - How To Discuss

GDN

GDN (Google Display Network) is one of the Google Ads advertising methods. The ads appear on the Google network, including services such as Gmail, YouTube, or Blogger, and Google partners, both on small business websites and major news sites such as The New York Times or The Guardian. The ad network covers about 90% of users worldwide.

The most common types of ads that can appear on the Google Display Network are responsive display ads, uploaded image ads, engagement ads, and Gmail ads.

  • Responsive display ads allow you to add rich text (headings and descriptions), images, and logos. The big advantage is that a responsive design adapts to the website in question. Google optimizes them to improve their performance,
  • Imported display ads can be images or HTML5 files,
  • Interactive ads are ads that appear as engaging image or video ads on YouTube and the Display Network.
  • Gmail ads are messages that appear in users' inboxes.

Targeting for Display Network campaigns

Google Display Network targeting allows you to reach different groups of audiences at different stages of the sales funnel (awareness, interest, desire, action). So your goal could be:

  • users who may be interested in your product or service,
  • recipients of your remarketing lists,
  • The recipients are determined by the Google algorithm based on the target group and the landing page. This capability comes from automatic targeting.
