Glonass
Glonass is a global navigation satellite system of the Russian Ministry of Defense. It works in conjunction with the US GPS system and the proposed Galileo system [currently under development by the European Union (EU) and the European Space Agency (ESA)], and the signals can be received by any user of a Glonass recipient in the world. (once all satellites are available).
