I'm not an electrician, but I finally figured out why the heater doesn't work. My 3 caught fire so I replaced it and everything worked. This device is 5 years old and as far as I know I have a 10 year warranty. Will it be covered? Two days later the same trouble was over. It's been two weeks and I've had 5 sessions. It seems like I always go to work so my family is cool. I need help getting someone out. Thank you very much!
I will call technical support, you protect the motherboard and electronics, so the problem is overloading the other components. Check the warranty that usually covers the heat exchanger and spare parts.
This happens when there is current in the low voltage circuit. It is usually a bare ground wire. The face may have wires and some insulation may have melted, or it may be in the wires between the face and the thermostat. Periodically isolating SRTs can be a complete problem with SRTs, so for a technician to detect SRT, you need to know when the ohmmeter is connected to the cable due to SRT. Most of the time, because of the thermostat wires, I tried to connect the thermostat and the front wires to the yellow alternating wire on the thermostat wire or at least to the AC controlling wire to help. To reduce things for now. Wires for R and W control the heat, use different wires for thermostat and front.
Loft1009 hit a square on his head. I can't imagine anyone giving him such strong advice. It has a low voltage side bare wire, which is sometimes made of heavy metal or maybe some other wire. I have seen a similar situation in CVC in my 25+ years, and it's been a year. Carefully inspect the wires where they pass through the motor line and also check the thermostat.
