How long does a bar of soap last in the shower?
I asked why I check the soap every week, but some people were surprised.
It depends on the type of soap, how it is stored between uses, what many people use it for, and so on. In other words, if you are the only one who uses soap, it seems too much once a week.
If you remove the soap from its packaging and use it immediately ... it will last for a week or two.
But ... if you take the soap out of the can and leave it in the air for about a week, you use it ... it can take months!
Most of us have a laid back attitude when it comes to painting a picture about a baby. But that was not the case in previous generations. The soap has hardened ... meaning it has been in the air for a while despite being used ... and it lasts much longer!
To experiment Buy 2 of your favorite soaps. Open both immediately to use, each time ... place the other on the shelf and let it dry. Then use the second one (after the first slash is over). You will notice that the second stick does not foam so easily, it may not smell so good ... but it will last longer than the first!
