How Many College Credits For E4 Army
w How many study credits do I need to get an AF BMT degree, such as E3? 3
I'm joining the United States Air Force soon, but in the meantime, I'm going to college. I would like to know what college credit I need to get an AF BMT degree like E3 (A1C).
Austin Park,
Here is the exact number of credits required for a merit-based doctorate from a college:
To upgrade to Airman First Cl (E3), you need to:
You have successfully completed 45 semesters or 67 quarterly courses in a school registered with a recognized relevant post-secondary educational institution.
To upgrade to Airman (E2), you need:
Successfully completed 20 semesters or 30 credits in a school registered with a relevant recognized post-secondary educational institution.
Remember the air force will be there for the next 1000 years. If you are going to college, I would suggest completing 2 years at your local community college. Earn 45 euros per semester. This is like pinging 15 university keys. You are a 3 semester university. Also, take summer courses that will allow you to earn 15 college credits soon.
good luck,

Here's how it works: If you have one year of college (30 credits), you can enter E2. Otherwise, the traditional way is: 1. To get E2, you will be promoted through basic training and 6 months service. Your college credits may run out in a month or two. 2. If you graduate or enroll in a technical school or AIT after one year of work, you will get E3. 3. Some schools are so long that it takes 1 year to graduate. It could be E3 after graduation. In short, as long as you have E2 for a minimum of 6 months, E3 for a minimum of 1 year, E4 for a minimum of 26 months, and E5 for a maximum of 54 months, that's fine. I don't have to try to hurry.
All you need is 45 credits to get the E3 Basic Education Diploma.
There is also the option to apply for 6 years and then after completion of tech school. A1C for sewing. But personally I would suggest, since this is the first time in your Air Force, you don't know if you want an extra 2 years to be enough.
It takes 48 semesters to apply for E3.
24 semesters for enrollment in E2
You can apply for 6 years and upgrade to E3 after Tech Scol and continue your PhD until the day you get your foundation degree.
