I used 6 full size tea bags per gallon of tea ... I will add 1 to 2 more tea bags in your 1 1/4 container. It will have a medium color and good taste.
Don't leave it too long or it will get better and stronger.

If you are making sweet iced tea, you can use Lipton tea bag (or other iced tea) or two / three if it is small. Its power really depends on the amount of time you allow the tea bag to settle.
