I just saw Batman Base and in one scene he is using a high frequency device that produces a swarm of bats. I just want to know if this is possible. Do bats really search for these sounds and if so, how far do they work?
Bats certainly have good ears. It is possible that you can teach bats to approach you with sounds, for example, if you feed them when they come. The lower the frequency, the more your notes will move. Also, sound loses energy much earlier in the air than in water. There, the sound of a low-frequency whale in the water can be heard farther away than the loud noises of bats in the air. Bats use high-frequency sounds to lay eggs, which are within the range of the human ear, but they also make low-frequency social calls with a wide range. It would be more useful if we could record the heartbeat.

For example, the intrusive steering wheel of Antrozous pallidus uce penetrates into emergency shelters during the day, ostensibly to make sure teammates get together (Vaughan & Oâ; Shea, 1976). In A. pallidus, directional calls are longer and shorter than parent calls (Bro, 1976). Social shouts can be loud (Fig. 4 and 5) or loud (Fig. 5). Bats also seek specific help for the colony and attract peers, which can be traumatic (Russ, Racey & Jones, 1998).
