I have a 22-inch Westinguse LD2240 television. I recently lost the remote and it works on the TV. I have a sync XBOX that I would like to run from time to time, but I can't switch to the AV function because I don't have a remote.

Surprisingly, there is a menu in front of the TV showing a selection of TV, AV, YCPBR, HDMI, etc. Television. Why would they do that?

I played with my 40 for a while and found that I could open the source menu as soon as the source was turned on, toggle the modes with the channel up / form, but OK everything is volume +. It may have changed the font. You need a firmware update because it's * not * intuitive. YMMV

I bought a universal remote control which is cheap and works well with TV.

Two volume controls at the same time let me select the input channel. It doesn't work well for anything else. It only works with the TV, not the remote.

They are cheap or lazy. Too cheap to insert OK or too slow to code / convert software to convert entries without OK.

You will need the original remote or universal voucher.
