I got a mysterious Valentine's Day card and I didn't recognize the handwriting. Is it possible to find out where it was posted without going through the mail?
The envelope should contain one franc to cover your mail and the franc sorting center should have the zip code that sent your card. When your card is mailed, it will be sent to your local screening office so that you have a general idea of where it came from. Unfortunately, you can't be sure where it came from.
