I have had an immobilizer since I was arrested for my second DUI. I have to keep it in my car and provide breath samples during my car singing and every 45 minutes or so while driving. The breathalyzer has an RJ45 connector for quick release, I can send it back for calibration if I need to move it. Can I design a loopback jack that allows me to disconnect the breathalyzer without doing so? I think it's relatively new so I'm not sure people make this mistake twice and they need to put a breathalyzer in their car. I made a mistake, but it's ridiculous. Why not install a small but powerful suction fan instead of hacking the device? If you buy a simple program-worthy drawer (try the radioshake [1], [2]), you can turn on the fan every 45 minutes.
