Can I hang Christmas socks on a brick fireplace? 3

This is my first year with a real fireplace and I want to hang some socks but I don't understand. I can't run my nails into the bricks or cover them. What is your advice? Can you suggest which products you have seen in the store and which ones? Thank you very much!
