I hate being a dental assistant, what should I do? 3
I have been working as a janitor for about 3 years and I can't take it anymore. My days are defined by the patient and insurance deadline and what is and what is not. My work is in no way based on the real needs of patients' health. I was under constant pressure from my schedule and worked for a doctor with whom I did not agree on many points. Most office workers have little or no motivation and usually get up every day and drag themselves to work all day. Patients do not respect dentistry and, like all counseling, I must obtain the patient's consent or find another contact. I'm not a terrible hygienist, I have a lot of loyal patients and I like to get rid of tooth decay and administer anesthesia, I hate running the dental office logistics and running a business. what I have to do ? Quit and look for another job? I don't want to go back to school to take care of you. I have a degree in dental hygiene and I would believe that, but not as a dentist. I think I want to do more in the medical field. Any advice, help or advice in any way?
It seems that our problem is with your practice, not what you do, changing employers, maybe working in an organization where income is not a priority.
There seem to be 6 levels of education and salary in your area, each paying a few thousand more than the last. You can expand your education and experience.

You may become a professor at a dental school. Teach others how to become a dental hygienist.
I agree with other interviewers that they might consider an internship, such as a local community college specializing in dental hygiene (because they like to teach :) I would also say that we often have such subjects. There are pawns that we teach are difficult)
I'm not sure if you're interested in public health or public health, but you said you have a bachelor's degree in HD, so you took some of the previous courses for a proven master's degree in public. (Or most). Health (MPH)
