Many people (including the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations) claim that it was first said by Alexander Hamilton in 1978 (Tse w means no one loves anything), but in 1947 Peter Marshall, a pastor Said ... because when we are not upset, let's love everything. What is clear is that the quote is almost identical to the one quoted earlier. Rogers also collaborated, and Malcolm X used it as a maxim in one of his sketches.
