The family moved to Indiana, then to Michigan, and finally to San Diego when Eric was seven years old. In 1989, he received a BA in Communication from Southern Kelly University. He married Carrie in 1995 and had two daughters, Katie and Ella. Eric is a very private person who likes to keep his personal life separate from his work.
