The girl was arrested for child abuse and held for 45 days, after which she lost her life.
I've always been curious about this and I just saw a comment on YouTube that says there are 2 movies based on the story? I don't think that's true, but I was just thinking.
An exploration film, Joshika Hai Konkora "Â" tozume satsujinjiken £ ªà £ ¼à ƒ¨ © ©  ° High, High School Girl's Box of Concrete) directed by Yu99 Matsuya9 Kisuma9. (Later a member of the musical duo Yuzo) played the lead role in the film.
Another film, Concrete, directed by Hiromo Nakamura, was made in 2004 and is based on one of the books written on the occasion.
