Kitten Won T Eat
My new kitten does not eat, drink or use the litter box. 3
We just got a new kitten for me, huh. He has not been eating, drinking or using the bathroom since he came here. He hid under my bed in a dark, desolate area. I think he is trying to adapt to his new self and new environment. We keep it in our room with a crib, letter box, food and water. He lay down on the bed, ran and hid. She let me hug her and put her in my lap, but when you put her in the R it was over. I have two younger brothers and a dog (does not roam the area). How long does it take to use the food / drink / box? Is this normal?
updateI thank everyone who responded, I went to the bathroom, ate and drank. I had to sit with him and raise him when he saw me do it, but he succeeded. He was still hiding, but when he called, he left.
I can help you here, we just got a new kitten. Don't worry- this is normal. My cat did not hide, but she did not eat, drink or use her letter box on the first day. Different kittens adapt to their new life at different times, especially if your kitten is very young, less than 12 weeks old. The GCCF does not recommend keeping kittens away from their mothers at this age as they may have serious adjustment issues.
Make sure your cat knows the food is going into the pet's bowl as soon as you store it again and make sure it smells good. If the food is different from what you normally eat, you can't accept it, it's a good idea to ask about the foods you normally eat and buy some. The same is true of garbage, my new cat at first did not understand what the new garbage is because we were using different garbage than usual. He got used to it quickly.
When your kitten is eating (which doesn't take long if it grows and eats shellfish), put it in the litter box after eating, grab its claws, and scrape the box for a guess. That's what it is. Is for. If it interferes with your previous offer, the shell will be seized immediately.
One last thing: if you don't drink a lot, don't worry. If you feed him wet food, his skin will take out all the moisture he needs and he probably won't drink. My old cat has no teeth due to gum disease, so she can only eat wet food, not dry and not a drop of water since she has stopped eating nuts. This is perfectly normal.
If you only eat dry food and do not drink, you can pinch the skin of your throat (not too hard!) And tell about dehydration. If the skin loosens and returns to its normal shape then this is fine. If the shape of a pinch remains, you are dehydrated.
If this happens, take her to the doctor, but I am sure you will recover after a day or two of love and reassurance that she is OK. If he runs away and hides, let him go until he comes out and asks for attention. Shell gets you used to it quickly. Congratulations and enjoy your fast growing kitten!
I have a 6 month old kitten and we brought it to me a few weeks after birth, my kitten does the same, I have 3 more siblings, he is a little noisy so you Will have to adapt to the new. My cat didn't even eat much when she came here, there was garbage instead of newspaper garbage and we bought it the next day and she used the bathroom, maybe why? We left him alone and after a day or two he got better, but if it lasted for a week he might want to change his letterbox / feeder. If all else fails, get your cat to the vet - he or she will probably recover. But I helped! I now! :)

Well my kittens have kittens and I can't take care of them so I give them to my friends and they don't eat or drink and don't go home. He was used to being unfamiliar with dogs, he was ashamed of not knowing the environment. I now. And that's normal and will only come to light when you know what it has to do with it.
The new kitten is not eating.
This is perfectly normal. He was just trying to get used to his new environment and it scared him a little bit. Just give it some time. Looks like you've done everything you can to help adjust. I now.

Are you lazy or just scared? Try to give him some nutrients to increase his energy level so that he can eat. Also, take them to the doctor for insect repellent.
Where did he come from Did you adopt it, buy it or buy it for free? Is he well socialized or is he wild? This will help you to better answer your questions.
The answer you are looking for is that, in general, a Brunei dog is crooked and cold, just like your traditional Taiwanese dog.
