Knee Pain When Sitting Indian Style

Knee Pain When Sitting Indian Style

Cracked knees / pain after sitting cross legs (Indian style)? 3

Whenever I sit a little Indian style (about 30 minutes) and get up, sometimes my knee gets stuck and hurts. It's so bad it's hard to tell where it hurts the most, but I think it's behind my knee.

Interestingly, it usually only takes 10-15 seconds, so I have to sit on this leg without weight until it goes away. Then stand for about 30 minutes and then I don't feel anything.

Of course I have to stop sitting and working like this (it's a habit) but does anyone know what it is? I find it strange that it comes and goes so fast. I'm very active. I ran a lot, played football and was happy in college where I fell (fell) and none of my knees bothered to do those things.

And as an indication of what hurts when you do that - if I cut my Achilles tendon, it's 10, that knee would be 78.

And, yes, I realize I'm the billionth person to make that joke. I'm only looking for advice from people who may have been through the same thing or know someone else.

Vera, I think so all the time. That's why I said it's a habit you should break. But I don't feel this pain all the time. Usually, when you are in pain, the stiffness disappears completely, but it is very severe pain. And I don't feel that way all the time, I move a lot and I have legs and so on.

And to the person who says it's because I'm overweight ... obviously you haven't read the whole question.

The funny thing is that it usually only takes 10-15 seconds ...

If I have to sit with Indian legs for more than 10 minutes, my limbs will definitely stiffen because I am not used to it and I think if you sit like this for too long ... it would stop rotation. Is. Legs too. And if you are not used to the position, it is difficult to maintain it for a long time without feeling uncomfortable. For some yoga practice, but not so much ...
