Yes. I think Lin went through the same thing as Chehro. I believe Lin discovered that Bathos was a face or something like that. He looks like a human being and they probably took his memory and changed his name. She's also a maid, so she's probably human.

There is no human being in this world except the face. According to The Art of Spirited Away, Lin is a nasal soul.
He is not mentioned in the film, but he was probably the one who lost his memory, unlike Chihero, whom Haku had to remind him of the memories that caused him to run away.
