I found someone who lost his driving license. What is the best way to answer? 3

Should I leave the card as it was in the mail, put it in an envelope and send it to DMV, mail me on the card or something else?

Any driver's license can be taken to your local police station and they will contact you with an offer. You do not know what this person looks like, so it is not appropriate to try it yourself. If you can find a license without a wallet, chances are it's part of it, like a stolen wallet. Turn it over to the police and tell them where and when you found it. This would be helpful if there was actually a link to the missing ID.

dmv better do it and you contact this person. If the person has recently moved, their card address is incorrect, so mail them or take them to DMV.

They can be friendly and try to find your phone number and call them what they want from you. Or call DMV and ask what's best. I will not send you because you can no longer stay at this address.
