No Dial Tone On Phone But Internet Works
Do I have a dial tone but no ADSL signal? 3
My broadband internet doesn't work today. I checked the light of my modem and saw that the ADSL light is no longer on. I called my ISP and he said he didn't see any problem with the network. However, my phone line is still calling and I wonder if that means the service provider can't do that because I still have the connection. And this is not my modem because I took it to a friend and checked it and everything is fine.
I have read cases where there is no dial tone, but ADSL still works, is it on the other side? Does anyone have a solution?
Thank you very much
Hi
Your ADSL can be used even if it has dial tone. They work at different frequencies. If the ADSL light does not light up, it is on the router. 2 chances of things going wrong, first of all your router, maybe due to lightning in the telephone wires, if you live in a city or place where the power will not reach the phone lines or very little Chances are, this is the company. We offer you a pneumatic line (may differ from ISP if you do not have Plan II). Call your phone company and let them know your ADSL is ready. Insist until they get their work done by asking a technician to check. Most of the time, they get rid of you and blame your modem.
enjoy your day!
Are you saying that if you have pins connected you will not be able to select the tone here, does that mean there is no connection to the socket? If PC does not report dial tone, configure it incorrectly because AdSL does not use dial tone.

ADSL is not connected to the name or dial tone.
Use the same source to connect, but in different ways
The problem you are having is the ISP problem in the call center that is connecting your system to the ISP.
So, your ISP has an internet connection and your system is fine and has dial tone most of the time, but no ADSL internet connection. It can be fixed in 2-3 days.
Wait 2 days, contact support and request connection.
Insert the router directly into the test stand socket and disconnect all cables from each socket. Also change the filter.
If the error persists, it is most likely that the bridge over the ADSL card at headquarters has been damaged.

Dial tone OK, ADSL OK, but still no connection.
There seems to be a problem with your LAN card. Or LAN cable. Check the LAN card.
Right click on My Computer, Properties, Device Manager, check if you can see your network adapter, is there a yellow or red cross? If so, install them and repeat.
If not, try resizing and if it still doesn't work, replace the LAN board.
