Odyssey (Launch Pad) The LP Odyssey is a self-propelled semi-submersible mobile space launch platform that was converted in 1997 from a mobile drilling platform. The ship was used by Sea Launch for launches in the equatorial Pacific. Works with the Sea Launch Commander build and control ship.
