Should I connect this subwoofer to the amplifier? 3
I have a Molak 2600 watt SSL amplifier and I just bought 2 12 inch ICbm5762 power subwoofer.
The amplifier pushes about 1200 watts rms to 2 ohms ... and I can't find rms for subwoofer, but i think dvc and 4 ohms. Thanks in advance
updateMy error with the amplifier is stable ohm if it needs to be plugged in.
Unfortunately, you bought incompatible hardware. With two dual 4-ohm subwoofers, you need a stable 1-ohm amplifier. Or, conversely, with a stable 2-ohm amplifier, you'll need two dual 2-ohm subwoofers (or two single 4-ohm alerts). See if you can switch the amplifier or subwoofer to another version.
When you are with them, the best thing you can do is:
If you connect the amplifier to 4 ohms, it will reach 2600 watts. If you run the VC parallel to the series (divide the impedance and add the result), you get 4 ohms on the amplifier. At the same time, it will only use the capacity of the amplifier. This Ted is not looking for an amplifier to check his glasses ... please.
