Profits
Simply put, profit or income is the excess of income over all expenses.
However, there are many different measurements that can be confusing.
Some examples are EBIT and EBITDA.
The operating result is also used, which can be related to EBITDA or EBIT. Operating income is sometimes considered the best indicator of the health of the underlying company.
