Received 10 Year Green Card Instead Of 2 Year
I got a 10 year green card instead of 2 years. Is this normal? Is my marriage less than 2 years old? 3
updateI am not a resident. You sent me this first green card in 10 years. ??????
Use Info Q to make an appointment at your local USCIS office. If they are incorrect and you ignore I751 and do not fill in I751, you will see your error and USCIS may add you to the removal process. Call the USCIS officer and ask them to correct the error if necessary. If they issued you a 10-year green card based on your decision, you are lucky.
It's as common as failure. The song is wrong. Sometimes the visa office approves false entries on immigrant visas and the CBP officer does not recognize it and just walks away.
It may have been considered right by the MB and CBP officials agreed. Whether you arrive in a busy place like JFK, LAX or Miami, dozens of immigrant visas are issued every day and mistakes are inevitable.
You can fix it by sending I90 (free). In Request Part 2, under Reasoning Questions, select the checkbox. If you do not have proof of the accuracy of the information, ask them to consult your partner.
You don't want to take unfair advantage of this situation. You have enriched yourself more or less unfairly (I know this is a term of civil law) by accepting a card with more accuracy than the card you are linking to. Insects will be found if you have already applied for naturalization or other immigration benefits.

Do you already have permanent residence? Even if you do not live in the United States, your first green card must be valid for 2 years only. However, if you are already a US resident, marrying a US citizen does not change your status.
I doubt they make such mistakes.
There are always new developments in immigration regulations.
The safest way is to call us, you don't have to give your name or case number and just ask to see what they say.
Even if it's found, it's not your fault. Others cannot be punished. I would say leave it at that. It doesn't matter, especially if you are married after two years.
You will not find it at any airport. The only option is to apply for citizenship within 3 years. And, first of all, if you're really married and you want to stay that way, it doesn't even make you an asset.
Well, it doesn't matter what some people think, I also got a 10 year green card for the first time ... this time I was in another country] I thought our marriage was real and this I didn't need to conditionally add any aspect. It also gives me the impression that it is based on the country in which you are [as a non-citizen]. ۔ Some countries seem to be showing more red flags than others.
Anyway, you got it [like me] and I think you like me, you're in no hurry to send it back lol lol
Green renewal cards are usually valid for ten years.
