My leg is broken, should I stay out of work for too long? 3

Alas, I have broken my leg and I am not sure if I am leaving work for too long. I didn't think to ask A&E. I broke up on Sunday and I have this week's staff back on Monday. Is it too early? I am a kindergarten teacher so I am very active all day long. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you very much.
