Speak For Yourself Meaning
What does this statement mean for you? 3
And when will you use it when you are in a special situation?
People who claim to speak for themselves do not agree with this person.
You could say this in a situation like this:
No: Look! This is a disaster!
Your friend: Jacqueline and I will help clean up.
Jacqueline: Speak for yourself! (I mean, don't talk to me because I don't want to help!)
He speaks for you.
No, you don't have to worry. I got the impression that he spoke to me differently. He spoke to me when I knew what to do or what to do. He'll talk to me if I ask myself a minute and he knows what to do next. In some cases, I asked for grace and it was granted. But I never heard a voice from outside. What I do believe is that we humans often overlook the blessings that have been bestowed upon us. We can pray for a better life, an easier time to go through a problem regardless of what is happening, to get rid of that problem or for our progress towards a better life. I'm having a hard time at work or school and I want to help myself. However, when I go to work or school, turn on all the green lights and look for the best parking space, I feel cleaner than blessed. When I was a kid, I used to listen to older kids talk in church, and after all the praise they had, I didn't understand what they meant. Now (as one of the elders) I have! She really deserves credit for all the good things that have happened to us. It doesn't detract from our efforts ... it just acknowledges that it improves everything we do.
