Splog
Splog is short for spam blog (spam + blog = splog). This blog is intended to send spam, for example:
- Steal licensed content from licensed websites and advertise there for ad revenue.
- It is used to generate redundant backlinks to specific websites (spam link building form).
- Rotate high-quality stolen content to make it unique to search engines in hopes of ranking for certain keywords.
A term used to describe a spam blog popularized by Mark Cuban.
