Try to work in long, even strokes, gradually lifting the brush towards the end of each stroke.

How to restain stained wood?

• Lightly sand the painted wood with 100-grit sandpaper on a hand block. If you see spots, light or dark areas, sand and blend.
• Dip a sponge into the stain and saturate it half way.
• Place the sponge on the wood.
• Wipe the stain with a soft cloth.
