Can anyone recommend a good English translator / transcriber, Tengwar? 3
I'm a big fan of LotR and want to get a tango tattoo. I found this transcriber
But when you look at some words, they don't look exactly as I see them. I mean, it's close, but not exactly the same. Because it is an artificial language, I wonder if the translation of the pictures is wrong or if it is an author. So I decided to take a picture of Nine's tattoo (taken by Elijah and others) and compare it to what the author gave me. It's very similar, but there are still small differences. Can someone recommend / help me with another transcriber?
To updatelol ... I've heard it all, even if it's wrong, as long as it makes some sense to you, go ahead! sch several times.
I always thought I could get as close to the translation as possible ...
NKnitting Island: Depending on the (detailed) scheme developed by Tolkien, this may be incorrect and may be a problem.
If you like Tolkiens, you want to make them as accurate as possible. What's wrong with that? Just because it's a myth doesn't mean you shouldn't worry about the details.
If you want to express your love for LotR, it makes sense to use LotRstyle Tengwar, not just nonsense. Also, Tolkien is a linguist, so paying close attention to detail is a huge boost to his credit.
And don't forget that there are people we like to laugh at / make fun of who make mistakes ...
Tengwar is a script, not a language. The most advanced Tolkien languages are Sindarin (GrayElven) and Quenya (High Elvish).
It should also be noted that there are different writing methods for a script, so a word can be written in different ways and all can be correct.
(For example, the spelling of English words (nine) or peptic (dwarf.) Would be correct.
Unfortunately, there are no 100% accurate copyists. What you found is the most reliable transcriber I know.
This is very accurate, but the English mode is very graphic in places. As an example. And I don't often think it's dumb (that's the problem with new ones). WH has been given different interpretations of his letter, he does not differentiate between ¸ and  ،, ...
Some of these problems can be avoided by writing down the numbers. As an example. If you want the right copy, write Dheen, write date for date, ...
But some things (like the silence of the snow) need to be changed manually. To do this, you need to install the required font on your computer and then change the spoken e to silent e.
> Remove the spoken E (this: Â) and enter a capital letter O, for example, to get a dot that represents the silent E. The copycat score is nine.

Only fonts that use Dan Smiths keyboard layout will work with this transcriber result.

NsInselstricken Quenya and Sindarin are actually very real languages. Tolkien was a linguist, an ancient linguist. Yes, he speaks English, but the language he creates for the Middle East is very real and complete. There are rules of pronunciation, usage and they are as real as the languages found, such as Esperanto or American Sign Language. This is one of the things that makes Tolkien's world so real and important. It's not just a story, it's more. You can do whatever you want, but if you dig a little deeper you will find that it is more than a story. In fact, people speak this language fluently and communicate with it. The university arranged courses on it. It is related to other modern languages and shares some features of Finnish and other languages.

It may be wrong, it comes from a land that pretends that the book is fiction, the language is fiction ... Come on, what's the difference? It is not real, there is no way that what is not real can be true or false.
